The TF2 wiki is wrong on some many levels i have already had a discussion about that before but the fact is SAM does not hack because it simply does not inject anything it uses the steamworks methods to trigger the achievement unlock and that is all it does no hacking needed for that. As far as I know, I don't play any game with VAC, so would it be safe to use that software for the sole purpose of removing these achievements? But as I typed "Steam Achievement Manager" into google search, it returned a lot of stuff talking about a possibility of being VAC banned for using it. Today, I was told to use SAM to reset them on Steam. It seems Steam support is quite useless, and the game devs are gone. I want to play the game BUT I want to be able to get my own achievements.

I'm still waiting for some help there on how to get these achievements removed. When I downloaded the game (using the Steam client) it automatically came with a save from someone else, that had 79 in-game achievements (from which 65 are on Steam as well), including other in-game stats and related stuff. As you can see on the picture I published in that thread, I did not use SAM or any other program. So, this happened to me: got 65 achievements in The Binding of Isaac just by opening the game.
